Camping with your dog at Lake Ossiach

Would you like to bring your dog on your camping holiday in Carinthia? During the off-season, your four-legged companion is very welcome at Seecamping Berghof. The beautiful nature around the campsite is perfect for walks together and relaxing days in the great outdoors.

To ensure that all our guests – with or without a dog – feel comfortable, clear rules apply throughout the campsite. Consideration and respect for one another are particularly important to us.

Our rules for camping with dogs

• Dogs must be kept on a lead everywhere on the campsite, including at your own pitch.
• For a quick dip and some cooling off in Lake Ossiach, dogs have access to a small designated area with a wooden jetty in the LH area. The jetty leads into the water and allows dogs to jump directly into the lake.
  • This is a small access point to the lake, not a large bathing area and there is no sunbathing lawn.
  • Dogs are only allowed to enter the water at this designated dog access point.
• The east and west beaches, all other bathing areas and their adjoining sunbathing lawns are dog-free zones.
• The children’s playgrounds and sanitary buildings are also dog-free areas.
• Please be considerate of children and guests who are not travelling with a dog.
• Free dog waste bags are available at reception. Please use them and dispose of them properly.
• There are no dog showers at the campsite.

Important information for your camping holiday with your dog

Dogs are not permitted at the campsite during the summer season from 4 July to 30 August 2026. During the off-season, we look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged friend to Lake Ossiach.

Please note: Dogs are only allowed to enter the water at the designated dog access point. All other beaches, bathing areas and lake access points are dog-free zones.
